Depart from Heathrow or your preferred airport for a scheduled flight
to Beijing. Meals on board.

Beijing
Upon arrival in Beijing, you are greeted at the airport by our English
speaking guide and transferred to your hotel by private transport.
The rest of the day is at your leisure to recover from jetlag and
get ready for the adventure to come! (China is 8 hours ahead of
UK)

3 Beijing
(Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
A full day city tour to soak up the atmosphere of Beijing. This
includes visiting historical sites such as Temple of Heaven,
Tiananmen Square and the magnificent Forbidden City.

4 Beijing

Lunch, Dinner)
The highlights of today's tour include a visit to The Great Wall,
Mutianyu Section. After spending time walking on the wall we visit
the Summer Palace before travelling back to Beijing.

5 Beijing
to Luoyang (Breakfast,
Lunch,
Dinner)
Today
we transfer to the airport for a morning flight to Luoyang. Upon
arrival our guides will meet you and transfer you to your hotel.
In the afternoon we visit the Longmen Caves.

6 Luoyang
- Shaolin Temple (Breakfast,
Lunch,
Dinner)
After
breakfast we drive to Songshan (1 hour) and visit the famous Shaolin
Temple. Our tour of the temple includes watching a spectacular
Kung Fu Show. Drive back to Luoyang after Lunch and visit
the White Horse Temple.

7 Xian

Dinner)
Drive to Xian the ancient capital of China for many dynasties (4hrs
drive). We visit Big Wild Goose Pagoda, built as a Buddhist
Monastery during the Tang Dynasty, and the Ancient Ming City
Wall, built in the early Ming Dynasty (about 600 years ago).

Today,
the tour highlights include seeing the Terracotta Warriors.
We visit the luxury underground palace of Emperor Qinshihuang, the
Archaeological Museum of 6,000 life-size Terracotta Warriors and
their horses. The warriors were the after life protectors the first
emperor who united China (221BC-206BC). Afterwards we will visit
Shaanxi History Museum, one of the best museum in China.

Xian

Lunch, Dinner)
In the morning, we walk around Bell Tower and Drum Tower
where you can have great views overlooking the entire city. Our
guide will be happy to assisting in taking pictures for you. Then
we will have a walk around the Old Muslim Quarter including
Great Mosque. Finally we drive to Donghan Village (1hr) to
visit a local family and experience paper cutting and see
the village school.

Xian
- Xining - Lhasa (Breakfast,
Lunch)
Transfer to airport in the morning and fly to Xining (1 hr). Drive
to Huangzhong to visit Kumbum or Yellow Hat Monastery.
Late afternoon we drive back to Xining railway station and board
the overnight train from Xining to Lhasa (through Gurmu(Golmud)/Tuotuohe/Anduo/Naqu/Dangxio).

Full
day on the train - arriving Lhasa in the evening. Upon arrival,
transfer to hotel.

Today we visit Jokhang and Ani Tsangkung Nunnery in
the morning. After lunch, we visit the Sera Monastery including
the Main College Hall. (except in Aug/Sep).

In the morning, we have a tour to the famous Potala Palace
in Lhasa. Afternoon is free or we recommend an optional excursion
to Drepung Monastery. (bus 6kms each way)

The morning is free for your to explore the city. We also provide
optional excursion to Ganden Gelugpa Monastery (bus 1.5hrs each
way,visit 3.5hrs.) Late afternoon we visit Norblingka, the
summer palace of the Dalai Lama.

Transfer to airport for flight from Lhasa to Beijing. Upon arrival,
transfer to the hotel.

Our Guide will meet you at the hotel and take you to the airport
for your departure flight.

Flights
As
agents of airline consolidators, we can obtain international and
domestic flights in various class
seats with
many reputable airlines. We can also provide flights from
many UK regional airports and depends on availability we
will try to arrange direct flight when possible, however allocation
can be limited. If you wish to be booked on a particular airline,
please specify at the time of booking (supplement may apply). Alternatively,

the cheapest deal we recommend you book your international flights
at time of booking, as this can save you £££s

Meals We include all breakfasts (mixture of western &
Chinese cuisine) at your hotel and most Chinese style lunches and
dinners, which are all pre-booked as shown in your itinerary. Each
lunch and dinner menu is selected to ensure you can try a wide variety
of tasty traditional dishes whilst in China. We feel it is also
an important part of your holiday experience to try buying a few
meals by yourself whilst you're in China and for your convenience
the hotels we select provide a good choices of Chinese cuisine with
English menu. Alternatively there are plenty of restaurants to choose
from around the main sightseeing area in most Chinese cities. A
good meal (dinner) in a restaurant should cost about £5 per
person.
