in Japan is considered the best month to travel for warm enjoyable
weather. Our tour to the beautifully scenic northern island of Hokkaido
includes visiting some of the best 'Sakura' Cherry blossom viewing
spots in the whole of Japan and avoids the 'overcrowded touristy'
viewing spots in southern Japan.
Additional
nights in Tokyo can be provided prior to the tour starting, alternately
you can fly direct into Hokkaido.

1
Depart from your preferred airport for your flight to Tokyo. Meals
on board.
Day
2
Hokkaido - Sapporo
Arrive at Chitose Airport in Hokkaido where you will be met
by our guide and transferred to your hotel. The
rest of the day is at your leisure.

3
Sapporo City Tour (Breakfast)
Today we have a city tour of Sapporo and then enjoy Cherry Blossom
Viewing at Shizunai where 1000s of Cherry trees are
in full bloom in mid May.

4
Sapporo - Hadokate
(Breakfast)
Today,
we travel to Hadokake by train using our railpass. Hakodate
is a beautiful port city where you will enjoy one of the best scenes
in Japan from ropeway ride.
For
your convenience and due to luggage restriction on the bullet train,
we have arrange free luggage transfer to take your large
luggage directly to Tokyo (1 bag per person).

5
Hadokate - Tokyo
(Breakfast)
We travel by Bullet train from Hakodate to Honshu (the main island
of Japan), approx 4hour journey. We stop off on the way to Tokyo
at the Ashikaga Flower Park to observe world famous wisteria
flower. From Ashikaga we take a coach to Tokyo approx 2 hours.

6 Tokyo (Breakfast)
Enjoy
a Guided tour of Tokyo using coach as transportation. The tour includes
visiing Asakusa Temple, the Imperial Palace and Odaiba
in the Tokyo bay area

7 Tokyo
Free Day
(Breakfast)
Free day to explore Tokyo on your own. We can provide suggestions
to suit your interests.
Alternatively,
take an optional full day tour to see Mt Fuji and Hakone.

8
Tokyo - Hiroshima & Miyajima
(Breakfast, Dinner)
We
take the bullet train this morning to Hiroshima. Hopefully we will
have clear views of Mt Fuji from the train.
Upon
arraval enjoy a tour of Hiroshima & Myajima. Tour highlights
include visiting the beautiful Itsukushima shrine and floating
red Torii Gate, Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park / museum,
Atomic Bomb Dome. The
traveling time by comfortable train is only 4 hours traveling a
distance of 800 km.
For
your convenience and due to luggage restriction on the bullet train,
we have arrange free luggage transfer to take your large
luggage directly to Kyoto (1 bag per person). Prepare a smaller
carry bag for your overnight stay in Hiroshima.
Stay
1 night in a deluxe Ryokan, sleeping in a Japanese style room on
Tatami mats. Enjoy
Japanese set dinner in the evening.

9
Hiroshima - Kyoto
(Breakfast)
Depart Hiroshima by Bullet train to Kyoto. Upon arrival we visit
the magnificent Kiyumizu Temple, perched on the hillside
overlooking Kyoto. Afterwards we visit the White Fox Shrine
(Fushimi Inari Taisha) which has thousands of TORII gates.

Kyoto - Nara - Osaka - Kyoto
(Breakfast)
Today we have a full day coach tour visiting Nara, the ancient capital
city of Japan, known as the cradle of Japan's arts & crafts. The
restful rural city was were Buddhism first flourished in Japan and
is home to many ancient temples and historic relics. Our tour to
Nara includes visiting Nara Deer Park and the Todaiji
Temple housing the Great Buddha in the worlds largest wooden
building.
Later
we travel by coach to Osaka, where we visit the magnificent Osaka
Castle.

11
Kyoto
(Breakfast)
Full day tour of Kyoto, which includes visiting
Nijo Castle, the former residence of the Tokugawa Shogun built
in 1603. Nijo Castle is noted for its Ornate interior and 'nightingale
floor' designed to sing when stepped upon to warn of Ninja assassins.
Next we visit the Kinkakuji Temple (Golden Pavilion) centred
around one of the best examples of a Japanese Zen gardens in the
world.

Kyoto
(Breakfast)
Free until transfer to Kyoto airport for your flight homewards.
Alternatively we can arrange a tour extension.
